Welcome to church!
The Village is one local body in Flower Mound, Texas, with one mission: We exist to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus Christ.
We love God by growing in our knowledge of Him and living in worshipful obedience to His Word.
We love people by imitating Christ and inviting the broken and suffering to recieve hope and care.
We make disciples by proclaiming the powerful gospel message that Jesus Christ lived in perfect obedience to the Father, was crucified for our sin, was resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, ascended into heaven, and will one day return to make all things new.
We invite you to come see what we are all about and to join us in this mission.
The Village is a welcoming home to all people, making disciples across all ages and stages of life. We are a safe place for the broken and suffering to come and receive hope and care. We demonstrate the ministry of presence as we rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn. We send disciples into their homes, into their neighborhoods, into our city, and into the nations. We seek to build beyond ourselves, living the greater story together, and creating a kingdom legacy for generations to come.
Right now we’re holding both in-person services on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and livestreaming the 10:30 a.m. service.
Seat reservations for our Sunday worship services are no longer required. Please note that Little Village (birth–K) and Kids Village (1st–5th) require registration.
You can watch the livestream on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. on our livestream page.
We’re so glad The Village Church and/or Pastor Matt has made such an impact on you, and we’d love for you to continue watching sermons and interacting with our resources. But we also believe belonging to a local church is important, and we encourage you to seek out a place and a people to fellowship with and to grow in your knowledge and love of God. To find a church in your area, we suggest:
When you arrive, our parking team will instruct you where to park. We try to structure parking in a way that allows the maximum amount of people to attend our services. Also, we want to love our neighbors and serve them well, so we ask you not to park in the neighborhoods or retail areas surrounding the church.
It’s a good idea to arrive at least 15 minutes early to ensure you get a seat.
As far as attire, you’re invited to come as you are, whether it’s a suit or shorts you feel most comfortable wearing. Our members and attendees tend to dress pretty casual.
We have Little Village (birth–K) and Kids Village (1st–5th grade) available during our 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services, and registration is required to attend. Registration opens on Wednesdays, with one batch of spots becoming available at 12 p.m. and another batch at 7 p.m. You will receive a confirmation email once your children are registered (hold on to this!). While we do offer programming for kids, please know that your children are always welcome to attend with you in the main service.
Our volunteers are required to be trained and screened, and we maintain strict teacher-to-child ratios to ensure safe care. For health standards, children must be free from fever or symptoms of contagious disease for 24 hours. Let us know of any allergies or medical conditions your child may have. If your child is ill, they should not attend Little Village or Kids Village. Here are some signs of sickness:
- Persistent runny nose with substantial discharge
- Hacking or wet-sounding cough
If it's your first time checking children in, head to the First-Time Families desk in Little Village and/or Kids Village. On subsequent visits, you'll be able to check in using the kiosks when you arrive. If you have issues checking in, come to the check-in desk inside Little Village or Kids Village for help, and please have your confirmation email ready. Classrooms open for dropoff 15 minutes before service starts. Once you've checked in, you'll receive security stickers for your child. The stickers serve two purposes:
- Parent Paging – If we need you during service, the number on your sticker will be displayed.
- Child Pick-up – You must present your portion of the sticker before we release your child.
If you have a child with special needs, we would love to discuss specific ways we can serve you. Contact Lehia Murray for more information. You can also visit our Special Needs Ministry page to learn more.
We’re so glad you asked! We’ve created a video to help walk you through this question.
