Life Story

God has blessed me in so many ways, and one of those is having grown up with two faithful and godly parents who loved me well. The older I get and the more people I meet, the more I realize how truly rare that is and how God protected me in so many ways throughout my childhood because of it.

I can’t really pinpoint a specific time when I became a Christian, but I did verbalize a simple understanding of the gospel to my dad when I was about 5 or 6 years old and was baptized when I was 7. While I certainly have learned more and more over the years, I can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t know and love the Lord.

I am so humbled by the ways that, in spite of being a Christian for almost my entire life, the Lord has been so patient and gracious to reveal deep-rooted sin in my life and continues to sanctify me more and more every day.

Hope for The Village Church

My hope is that we would be a church that joyfully and intentionally proclaims the gospel and disciples people in our local community.
