Life Story

I grew up in Highland Village, Texas, with my parents and sister. I was raised in a great Christian home, where my family encouraged me and helped me grow my faith from a young age. We have attended The Village Church since 2006, and I have had the blessing of growing up in Kids Village and Student Ministry. TVC has always been a second home for me. 

I gave my life to Christ when I was 8 years old. In high school, I began serving in Little Village. Due to serving, I attended a different service than my parents and began feeling like my faith was no longer theirs but my own. I was baptized at 16 years old. 

My fiancé Matt and I grew up living two doors down from each other for the past 16 years. We began dating in 2020 when our schools shut down due to COVID, and we are getting married in August 2025! 

I graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2022 with a degree in Psychology and a concentration in Child Life. My plan was to work in healthcare, but the Lord had another plan for me. The last few years have been a season of trusting the Lord’s goodness even though I cannot see the future He has for me. Even with the uncertainty regarding my career, the Lord has been gracious and generous during this season. I am so excited to not only call TVC my church family but now my workplace as well.
