For a long time, I thought meaning and happiness were found in making a career for myself, being a good person, and growing in influence with others. Though I had career success, this pursuit left me feeling empty and alone. I had grown up believing in God in a general and distant sense, but never knew anything specific about Him. I never knew His name.
One crucial and difficult night, I found myself crying out, “Jesus, if You're real, I want to know You!” The Lord kindly and wonderfully answered that prayer when I was invited to a church in Austin and heard the gospel for the first time. This changed everything.
A few years after meeting Jesus, through my love and involvement in my local church, I made a sharp turn out of the world of consulting and into full-time ministry. My desire is to equip the saints for the work of ministry by helping them discern their kingdom assignment, learn how to share their faith, and make disciples near and far, beginning with the lost around them. I am passionate about seeing Jesus known, enjoyed, and worshiped in places that have little to no access to the gospel. I am convinced that there is no greater joy or purpose in life than knowing Jesus and joining Him in this work!
Hope for The Village Church
My hope is that we would be a people who experience the joy of joining Jesus on His mission!
