Life Story

The Lord has been faithful to bring me from humble beginnings to a life lived in the pursuit of being a fully devoted follower of Christ. My life story is one in which God continues to put people in my life who have prayed for me, influenced me with the love of Christ, and brought me along this journey of faith to reach the lost with the hope of Christ Jesus. My humble roots in West Texas taught me grit and determination along with a love for Jesus, my one and only true Heavenly Father.

From there, the Lord launched me south to Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas where my life would intersect with a group of young men to start a fraternity chapter of Brothers Under Christ. With these men, I have been blessed with rich and rewarding brotherhood and accountability under the common bond of Christ. Upon graduation, God launched me north to Dallas/Fort Worth where I began ministry and my theological education in Early Childhood Christian Education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. While serving at Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas, I met the love of my life, Ginger, and we started a lifetime journey together that has been amazing. We have been blessed with two remarkable children, Jonathan and David, who are becoming righteous warriors for Christ.

Since 2003, I have served as a Children’s Pastor, proclaiming the gospel to the next generation while ministering to their families. For the past 15 years, the Lord placed our family in Arkansas to serve in several churches and share the good news across the state. During this time, I gained further theological training at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where I received a Doctorate of Ministry in Strategic Leadership while researching equipping strategies to train Next Gen Ministers to share the gospel. We now return to Dallas/Fort Worth, in 2023, with a fresh and renewed calling to plant a church that will make disciples who boldly proclaim the gospel on new frontiers for Christ!

Hope for The Village Church

I hope TVC may continue to be a beacon of light, to be used by God to project the message of the gospel with far-reaching influence across all nations. May the Lord use this church to shape and influence generations of disciples to live for His name and His renown as the desire of their hearts.
