Scripture 1 Samuel 2 Samuel
Share
Chapters 21–24 form the epilogue (or conclusion) for both 1 and 2 Samuel. It reminds the reader that David, a man after God’s own heart, sought the Lord in difficulty, looked to Him for salvation and repented when he sinned. The four-chapter epilogue looks back to the folly of Saul and forward to the future of God’s kingdom beyond David.
