Partnering With Parents to Make Disciples

Preschool to High School

Our Next Gen ministries include children and students ages 0–18, preschool through high school. Because we believe that Scripture is clear that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, our hope is to partner with families in their pursuit of this mission, coming alongside them in the discipleship process. We do this in many ways, but especially through the various resources that we create. These resources help build a strong, gospel-centered foundation for their kids.

Preschool (Birth-K)

In our Preschool ministry, we strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We teach from the Scriptures and help parents proclaim to their kids who God is and what He has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ. During the weekends, in Little Village, we sing, dance and teach the Bible to the kids, focusing on our six foundational truths: God made everything, God is in charge of everything, God is good, Jesus came to save sinners, God wants to talk with us, and the Church is God's family.

Elementary (1st–5th)

In Kids Village (1st–5th grade), we build a strong, gospel-centered foundation while having fun. We do this by teaching about who God is and what He has done in the Bible. While attending Kids Village, children are part of a small group of same-age peers with a consistent leader each week. Small groups worship together through songs, learn Bible stories, and play games. Children learn that God is wise, generous, loving, good and so much more. We partner with families in discipleship by creating fun environments, engaging curriculum, and helpful resources that center on the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Middle School (6th–8th)

Our Middle School Ministry (6th–8th grade) seeks to make disciples of middle school students who love God and love people. We accomplish this by partnering with parents as the primary disciple makers in their homes and by creating intentional environments where students can have fun, connect with friends, and be formed as disciples of Jesus Christ. We especially prioritize fostering healthy small group life for students to belong to and connect with.

High School (9th–12th)

Our High School Ministry (9th–12th grade) seeks to make disciples of high school students who love God and love people. We accomplish this by partnering with parents as the primary disciple makers in their homes and by creating intentional environments where students can learn about who God is and who they are. We want them to feel like they belong and to grow in understanding of their purpose as disciples of Jesus Christ.
