History

Chapter After Chapter of God’s Faithfulness

Tracing The Village’s history takes us back to the heart of our mission—to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus Christ. In the 1800s, the newly formed Southern Baptist Convention sent a team of people out West, creating a chain reaction of churches planting churches planting churches. Out of the faithfulness of many men and women responding to God’s call, The Village was born.
