The Farmers' Story
Chad and Hiroko Farmer are part of Mustard Seed Network, a ministry dedicated to glorifying God by planting gospel-centered churches in urban Japan. Mustard Seed Network started in 2009 with the vision of seeing Japanese cities saturated with churches that proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. In an effort to plant 12 churches in the 12 largest cities in Japan, the network has planted eight churches across Japan, and three more churches are starting in three different cities. Chad serves as a pastor at Mustard Seed Christian Church Tokyo and as the director of operations and deployment for Mustard Seed Network. Together, Chad and Hiroko are committed to making disciples and sharing the hope of the gospel in Japan. They have four children.
