Role

The Young Adults Ministry Assistant exists to support the mission of the Young Adults Ministry: making disciples, ensuring every season and stage of life has a portion in the church, and creating a kingdom legacy for generations to come. The Young Adults Ministry Assistant is responsible for coordinating and supporting all the programming and events of young adults. This position will play a critical role in ensuring that this ministry is well-organized, effectively executed, and provides a welcoming environment for all participants.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for Young Adults Ministry events.
  • Coordinate, schedule, attend, and record minutes for Young Adults Ministry meetings.
  • Monitor Young Adults Ministry expenditures.
  • Oversee hospitality and deliverables requests for Young Adults Ministry events.
  • Create, monitor, and manage online event and retreat registrations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Agree with The Village Church’s Expectations of Membership, Statement of Faith, and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
  • High school diploma, required
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • 1–2 years experience in office administration
  • Proficient in administration
  • Proficient in communication (verbal and written)
