Role

The Preschool Ministry Assistant is responsible for administration and oversight, managing and maintaining the Preschool Ministry physical space, and the preparing and readying of preschool curriculum and supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee ordering, printing, and organization of all curriculum, materials, and resources for weekend services. 
  • Be available on weekends to support volunteers and ensure a smooth flow of service including check-in.
  • Oversee and maintain the physical space of the Preschool Ministry.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute Preschool Ministry events in partnership with Preschool Ministry staff. 
  • Oversee, equip, and lead midweek volunteer team responsible for training and communication.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Agree with The Village Church’s Expectations of Membership, Statement of Faith, and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
  • High school diploma, required
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • 1–2 years experience in office administration
  • Experience with children
  • Proficient in administration
  • Basic knowledge of preschool development
