Role

The Men’s Ministry Director provides oversight to the Men’s Ministry— specifically, Men’s Bible Study, Men’s forums/weekends, and Men’s connect events/groups.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute Men’s Ministry at The Village Church.
  • Create avenues of discipleship through the lens of connect, catalyze, and formation.
  • Provide support for other formational and equipping classes.
  • Collaborate with other ministry leaders for the sake of holistic disciples.
  • General ministry responsibilities as needed (hospital visits, weddings, funerals, etc.)

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Agree with The Village Church’s Expectations of Membership, Statement of Faith, and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
  • Model the biblical character of a minister/deacon (1 Timothy 3)
  • 5+ years of leadership and ministerial experience
  • Ministerial shepherding, care, counsel, and direction
  • Working knowledge of biblical theology
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Administrative and organizational skills
