Life Story

I was born and raised in non-Christian home in California. My parents neglected their parental responsibilities, and I was left with a tremendous amount of pain inside. While my life on the outside looked great, I was secretly broken from constantly searching for attention and affirmation from my family.

In 2010, my world caved in when my husband almost lost his life in a serious accident. This came after suffering through our tenth miscarriage. I was forced to contemplate raising our son alone, and I became exhausted and empty inside. Things changed when my husband asked me one crucial question: what was our purpose in life?

This question was answered when some of our sweet friends gave us a Bible. As I read God’s Word and started to understand who God was, He opened my eyes. He allowed me to see that although I had believed in God, I had never had a personal relationship with Him. I realized my need and understood His call on my life.

In 2017, the Lord opened the doors for us to move to Texas and to become members of The Village. It has been our joy to be a part of this church and a blessing to serve alongside people who have the same desires and passion for the Lord. Today, I am a woman who loves the Lord first and foremost, a loving wife and mother with a heart that has been transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Hope for The Village Church

My hope for The Village is that we would seek peace and joy in God’s Word, share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world and partner with families to teach our children about Him.
