Parents! Don't miss out on this opportunity to introduce your new 6th grader to the Village Student Ministry. The entire retreat is designed around them and making the transition from Kids Village to the Student Ministry as smooth as possible. We will spend Thursday night and Friday afternoon at Camp Copass in Denton playing games, introducing them to their new leaders, and Saturday afternoon serving at one of The Village's local missions outlets. Registration booths will be open the weekends of August 2-3 & 9-10 in the main lobby of the Sanctuary. The purpose of Fish Camp is to create a smooth and comfortable transition for the 8th grade students going into 9th grade. It is also used to create a rite of passage for the new freshman and to create a sense of purpose for freshman to guide them through high school. Fish Camp will also provide an avenue to plug students into high school home groups and connect them with their adult leaders. Date: Aug 23 Where: Lake Lewisville Cost: $30 It's a day at lewisville lake with a cookout for dinner.
