Short-Term Trips

Taking the Gospel to the Nations

Gospel-Centered Multiplication

We exist to bring glory to God by making disciples through gospel-centered worship, gospel-centered community, gospel-centered service and gospel-centered multiplication. This is our mission and process for discipleship. Out of this, gospel-centered multiplication is the result of discipleship, replicating Christ in others. One of the ways we pursue and live out this discipleship trait is through our Short-Term Trips. Every year we have the opportunity to go on a number of short-term mission trips through the church. Whether you go by yourself, with your family or with your Home Group, these trips are a great opportunity to bring the good news of the gospel to the nations.

For those interested in going on a short-term trip, we ask that you follow the guidelines below:

Ecuador

In connection with NEXT Worldwide, we work with missionary Ron Sutton in and around the city of Quito. The objective is to establish churches to meet the spiritual needs of the people moving into the area. In addition to working on the plateau, NEXT is also working in the northeast and southeast areas of Quito to plant and strengthen churches where there is a lack of gospel witness.

Ecuador 1

September 28 – October 4, 2017 | $2,175 per person

We will serve alongside NEXT Worldwide to establish a new church. There will be opportunities to share the gospel and to do service-oriented ministry. The team will participate in leadership training to equip them both in Ecuador and back home.

If you are an entrepreneur or business professional who has a desire to use your business skills and abilities to expand the kingdom of God, consider joining Videre in Ghana this summer and/or fall.

United States

Throughout the U.S., we partner with and support several church planters and churches as they minister to areas of our own country, particularly in areas where there are few believers and an opposition to the gospel. This year we will join one of those partners in ministry: Seven Mile Road Church in Boston, Massachusetts.

Sent out from The Village in 2015, Clint Patronella and his family serve with the Seven Mile Road church-planting network in Boston to plant a church in Waltham (greater Boston). Our team will help host their annual week-long Soccer Nights program, a fruitful and popular outreach event in greater Boston. We will also get to join Clint’s church plant for worship, fellowship and to serve them throughout the week.
